I am a small 5’1, 115 lb woman so when my ex left I found myself very limited since I don’t have roof racks or the physical strength to maneuver my big kayak. This gives me the freedom to kayak whenever I please and get back to my favorite pastime!
It took 4 months to come in. With Covid and the crazy world, this isn’t great but it’s to be expected. I work in manufacturing so I understand the difficulty with supply-chain issues. The first time folding is difficult but after folding all of the seams a couple of times it gets much easier. I didn’t time myself but I have no complaints with the time it takes (took longer to load/unload my old one safely from racks with help). It’s very wide so it’s stable but not the fastest. Great for a calm lake or river. Easy to maneuver since it’s so light. The seat I got only has one seat cushion and the back, I might add some more cushion at some point. I had to keep adjusting the strap for the back of the seat as it stretched throughout my first ride but there is plenty of adjustability in the strap.

Awesome kayak, and absolutely amazing customer service. Could not be happier with the purchase.
It works pretty well, but it’s a little stiff and hard to open. Just be prepared for that and you’ll be fine. I ended up using mine for a back support behind the chair.
Love the tucktec, I use it every weekend to go fishing in. I'd love to become a tester for any of the tucktec fishing products that are released!!
Has super fiscal scratches all over the out side . Was this new or refurbished. I think I paid for a new one. As far as the rating goes. I will let you know once I use it on June 10 2022 .
I was able to put the kayak together in 5 minutes and was out on the river in ten. It worked as well as any hard shell kayak I’ve ever been in, and I am excited for the many adventures that are now accessible to me.
I wanted to hate this kayak. As with stuff on line they can be very gimmicky and not work. i thought this kayak would be one of those items the first time folding it i struggled a little. the videos sorta suck on process. but after doing it once it takes me a minute to set up.
the thing tracks well paddles well sets up quick and seems pretty stable. the seat is a touch rough but not horrible. luckily i read reviews about the paddle before taking it out and brought a spare to test both the one that came with the kayak would of left me stranded in a bad way.
