Would be great if you included good quality lightweight paddles that fit nicely in the package, but no biggie. We do love the kayak.
The fishing bundle is very Intuitive and goes great with the build and style of the kayak. If you ever consider fishing out of this kayak, spend the extra money. It is well worth it!!!!

I did receive my kayak about 3 weeks ago just about the time I had hand surgery so I wasn’t able to put it together until today. I am excited for warmer weather so I can get out and use it. I did get the stabilizer kit, however my hand is not strong enough yet to put that onto the kayak.
I will keep this short and simple. This kayak packs down small enough to fit in the bed of my truck, or even the backseat of a car. That made the drive from Omaha to the Buffalo national river much more pleasant. Once on the river, it performed flawlessly. There were even a few minor rapids that it handled with ease. You can’t go wrong with Tucktec.
The weather isn’t nice enough to go out yet, but it was easy to set up the first time. I did watch the video which was very helpful. Looking forward to the nice weather.

Too cold to paddle yet here in NEOH but I’m folding and refolding in my house. So far, all looks great. Made a small mod to footrest to give me another 2” of foot room. Very happy with the kayak. No regrets. Eager to get out and paddle ASAP. Impressive design and engineering.

Purchased the kayak to precisely deploy the bait. I was amazed by the idea of the product - the very first time I got it assembled in about 5 minutes - no instruction needed, just want the video, its all intuitive. Tested the kayak in a bauoy and local lake - works as expected. To withstand the rougher water in the bay I added 2 pool noodles on the sides, that increased the height of the sidewall about 2 inches. Also, to minimize scratching my fishing pole, heat up the rod holder with a heat gun and use a wine bottle to flare the end of the holder. So far - no complains, looking for the second kayak for my young man.

We recently purchased two kayaks from you — one green and one blue. They arrived on different days thanks to UPS, but everything came in perfect condition.
We tested assembling and disassembling both kayaks, and we were truly impressed. They are very easy to set up — and taking them apart is even faster!
Today we put the green one in the water, and my son is super happy. Seeing his excitement made it all worth it.
Before Tucktec, I owned a Point 65 modular kayak. Even though it was modular, it still took up a lot of space in my car. Later, I bought another modular kayak from Brooklyn Kayak Company, but it also filled up the entire car and was very heavy — usually only my son and I could go because there was no more room.
Now, with our Tucktec kayaks, I have two kayaks that I can take anywhere, and there’s still plenty of space in the car for the rest of the family to come along. That has made a huge difference for us.
Whoever created this design is a genius.
Now my brother-in-law is thinking about buying some too — one for him, his wife, and their three kids! 😄

I received my blowout kayak on Wednesday. I haven’t pulled it out of the box yet since we got a slice of cold weather. We are supposed to be in the 60s this week, so I will put it together this week. Weather has been crazy this year, so I hope to get out on the water before long. 60 degrees in February is concerning, but if the weather allows, I may as well paddle.
From ordering to my doorstep was quick and easy. I’ve watched the video on how to assemble and unassembled the Kayak and it been a fairly easy process. Hope to test it on the water this week since it’s warming up. I tried e mailing a question and have yet to hear back. Minor issue but it would have been nice to get your input.
Have not opened yet. Watched youtube videos on set up. Will set up at home several times first before taking to the water. Youtube videos on set up and use are the reason I bought your kayak, though low poundage was the overall reason for wanting a folding kayak.
I have three kayaks from tucktec. I bought one new and two used/refurbished. They are all excellent for an afternoon paddling the local waterways with my kids. The used ones aren't worn at all, not even scuffed along the bottom. The only indicator they were 'used' is that they were loads easier to fold up the first time because someone else had done the initial fold for us.
I haven't had the chance to use it but I cant wait to get it set up on my tucktec. Everything looks top notch just like the kayak. The thingy is a trip lol... I was able to get it open and the insulated lining is a nice touch! I plan to add a couple eyes to attach a grab anchor with and maybe a rail with the hackit kit
I have not had an opportunity to take my purchase out for a test run but the customer service for this company has been excellent! I had questions about assembly and reached out and by the next morning I had a video for assembly. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.
The foot bar arrived early and brand new. I’ll be glad to put my kayak in the water when the weather breaks.
I cant wait for summer when I can get back in my kayak! These look so well made. Can’t wait to try them out!
I live in Kentucky it’s like -30° here in January 2026 with snow and ice Mageddon coming all across the country this weekend , although I got to use it once and it appears to be a winner specially for the price I paid maybe one possible area that I’m not sure of is the back support but other than that I love it.
