Exceeded my expectations!

I have to admit that I had concerns about rigidity, as I am 6'2", 210 lbs (and 63!). I shouldn't have worried. Great design and construction. After under 3 minutes setup time, I was on the water with a solid, stable, maneuverable kayak. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to having my wife join me with hers on the next outing. Bonus points for being a great conversation starter!

Exactly what it advertises

I bought it based on a few YouTube reviews and on what the company promises. I can say they are honest in every aspect, this kayak does everything I expected to do and a little bit more. I use on a bayou, even having my 6 years old son on the back and it's safe and stable. Plenty of room for supplies too.

Fast shipping and very sturdy!

Instructions were simple and the kayak was very portable. Shipping was fast, was able to get the kayak within a week. Very sturdy. I felt safe and secure in the kayak even on a breezy day. Managed to stay dry in my kayak.

In love 💖

I have an inflatable I love but is just too cumbersome for me to use well on my own (I'm moderately athletic, 5' 2", 115 lb), so within a week of learning about folding kayaks (from a friend with an Oru) I had found Tucktec, ordered a like new Pink kayak, and received it! Another week later waiting for the rain to quit, and I was out the first chance I got. I had practiced folding and unfolding two times in my living room.. the very first fold prompted me to find the Tucktec FB group and find tips to make it easier, though after that first fold, it seems like I'll only need to use those tips when it's cold. I timed myself my first time out, and it took me 10 min to fold it, get my stuff in it and life jacket on, let the lady that stopped to ask about it know where she can buy one, and be in the water. It took me 8 min to fold it back up - drying it off as I rolled, walk it back to my car, and load it up. I'm seriously obsessed now! Even more since Tucktec is all American, a small business doing big things, has amazing support, better prices and warranty than competitors, and 100% backs their products! I'm definitely part of the cult following now. ;)

Definite Upgrade From an Inflatable

We bought one of these to test for possibly replacing our inflatable kayaks. The Tucktec performs much better and we stayed drier. Ordering the second one today.

Worth Every Penny!

So I've been eyeballing these kayaks for about 2 years, and wanted to make sure that they weren't just a gimmick. First, I have to commend Tuckteck for their customer service. I accidentally forgot to add something to my order, and had to place a second order. The very next day, I receive a notice that my second shipping charge has been refunded, and everything was consolidated into one shipment.

Perfect for summer adventures!

I love my new Tucktec! It replaced a string of cheap inflatable kayaks, and I'm very happy with the size and durability --- I take my 6 yr old nephew along and we have more than enough room and don't have to worry about popping the boat on limbs or barnacles. Super portable too!

Excellent Customer Service

I just want to say that I purchased my Tucktec in 2023, and it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made! I’ve been on numerous adventures over the past year and have had nothing but good things to say about it. However, last week my kayak flipped and I lost my carrying strap. After contacting Tucktec customer support I received a new carrying strap, free of charge. I received fast responses to my emails and Daniel was able to help me out. If I didn’t love my Tucktec already, I love it even more because of the help I received and the wonderful customer service. Bravo!

Love my Tucktec

I am 55 years old and not as strong as I used to be. I love my tucktec bc it allows me to stay independent and go kayaking by myself. I love my Pelican kayak but it is hard to even take it off the trailer alone and I always have to ask my husband for help. Also, we just started snowboarding to Florida from Saint Louis every year and it makes it so easy to take my kayak with me.
I only wish that I would have known about the new release of the lighter version that was released just a few weeks after I purchased mine… Still though, many people have asked me about my kayak and I have nothing but great things to say. I am staying in a 55+ community and many of the women have asked me about it. It handles great in the water and I feel very safe and secure. Love my Tucktec!!
